On May 4, 2022, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Jeddah, together with Thai students in Islamic University, Madinah, organised an event to celebrate Eid al-Fitr for approximately 150 Thais and Thai students in Madinah.

In addition to Eid al-Fitr celebration, the Consulate General also organised a graduation ceremony for 24 Thai students who graduated from the Islamic universities.
