                   The Royal Thai Consulate in Jeddah wishes to announce a job vacancy for the position of the Clerk, please find the details as follows:
                   1.  Position and Salary
                        1.1 Position: Clerk (Consular Services)

                        1.2 Salary starting at 6,334.- SAR (Six thousand Three hundred and Thirty-Four Saudi Riyals) and annual raises in accordance to work performance evaluations. Other additional benefits stipulated by law are health insurance, overtime, and local yearly bonuses.

                        1.3 The duration of employment on an annual basis (renewable upon mutual agreement between the employer and the employee).
                        1.4 Three-month probation period.

                   2.  Qualifications

                        2.1 Bachelor's degree or higher in any field. 
                        2.2 Holder of valid residence permit (Iqama) for those who legally reside in Saudi Arabia.   

                        2.3 Possessing a good Proficiency in Thai and being communicating in both English and Arabic (speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills).  
                        2.4 Possessing a computer basic literacy (Microsoft Offices).

                        2.5 Possessing a positive personality, good physical and emotional health, and not carrying diseases prohibited by applicable laws and regulations.

                        2.6 Possessing good behavior, service mind, morals, and ethics; good interpersonal skills and attitudes; being able to perform any additional assigned tasks and take the initiatives.

                        2.7 Possessing flexibility to work beyond official hours, (including weekends and public holidays) in cases of necessity or urgency.

                    3. Job Description

                        3.1 Proceeding visa inspection and other consular works assigned including Thai passport, Thai ID, legalisation, civil registration, protection of Thai nationals and Consular mobile services.   

                        3.2 Preparing statistics and reports on specific tasks assigned.

                        3.3 Providing information and answering questions on consular services via telephone, email, and other communication channels provided by the Royal Thai Consulate-General

                        3.4 Contacting and coordinating with local agencies concerned

                        3.5 Perform other assigned duties

                    4. Required documents

                        4.1 Duly completed application form (Thai or English) with 1 X 1 inch photograph
                        4.2 Résumé/Curriculum Vitae (CV)

                        4.3 Copy of passport

                        4.4 Copy of Iqama (if residing in Saudi Arabia)
                        4.6 Copy of transcript and education record
                        4.7 Duly Completed answers on opinion in working with the Royal Thai Consulate-General

                        4.8 Work certificates or any supporting documentation if that may assist in the Royal Thai Consulate-General's consideration (if available).       

                     5. Application Process
                        5.1 Duly completed application and required documents in file with the PDF extension shall be submitted to the Royal Thai Consulate-General by email ([email protected]). The application form is available at (http://jeddah.thaiembassy.org/Topic: Announcement).

                     6. Selection Process

                        A committee set up by the Royal Thai Consulate-General will verify and consider individual application together with other required documents. The said committee may require all applicants to take a written examination and interview to evaluate abilities, qualifications, attitudes, and personality for the said position.

                     7. Application and Selection Schedule

                        7.1 3 April 2025             Last Day of application submission
                        7.2 11 April 2025           Announcement of qualified applications

                        7.3 23 April 2025           Interview Examination

                        7.4 30 April 2025           Announcement of the results  

                     8. Location of the examination: The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Jeddah or  Online  

                     9. Conditions

                        9.1 One qualified candidate will be identified by the Royal Thai Consulate-General and other applicable candidate will be placed on a two-year reserved list.

                        9.2 The qualified candidate shall provide an evidence of police clearance to the Royal Thai Consulate-General prior to an employment; otherwise, he or she shall be considered disqualified, thus not passing the selection.
