On 19 June 2022, H.E. Ambassador Soradjak Puranasamriddhi, Consul General of Thailand to Jeddah, paid a courtesy call on Acting Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), H.E. Ambassador Samir Bakr Diab, Assistant Secretary General for Palestine & Al-Quds Affairs, to bid farewell on the completion of Consul General's assignment in Jeddah. 

On this occasion, H.E. Ambassador Samir extended his warmest congratulations to H.E. Ambassador Soradjak for his recent appointment as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Mozambique.

Both sides also discussed ways to enhance cooperation between Thailand and the OIC as well as exchanged views on topics of their mutual interest.
