Non – Immigrant Visa

Education (ED)

1. Requirement: This type of visa is issued to applicants who wish to enter the Kingdom for the following purposes.
   • To enroll in public or private educational institution
   • To participate in training course or study trip of the government agency, state enterprise or international organization in Thailand
   • To study Buddhism or practice dhamma
   • To enroll in aviation institution in Thailand
2. Validity of visa: The validity of a visa is 3 months (single entry) or 1 year (multiple entry)
3. Period of stay: not exceeding 90 days
4. Required Document:
   • Passport or travel document (with one copy) with validity not less than 6 months. The validity of 18 months is required for one year visa application.
   • One duly filled application form
   • One colour photographs (3.55 cm.) taken within the last 6 months
   • A copy of ID Card or Family Card (for Saudi citizen) or a copy of Residence Identity Card (for non-Saudi citizen)
   • A copy of Exit Re-entry visa (for non-Saudi citizen)
   • Evidence of traveling (a copy of confirmed air ticket)
   • Evidence of residence in Thailand
   • Evidence of adequate finance, i.e., bank statement (5,000 SAR per person and 10,000 SAR per family)
   • Sponsor letter from the guardian (for minor)
   • Letter of acceptance or invitation letter from the concerned schools, university, educational institution or the related government agencies in Thailand indicating that the applicants are visiting Thailand for educational purpose.

NOTE: Consular officers reserve the rights to request additional documents as deemed necessary.

7. Visa Processing Fee: 300 SAR for single entry and 750 SAR for multiple entry (non-refundable)
