Special Tourist Visa (STV) 

1. Requirement: This type of visa is issued to applicants who wish to enter the Kingdom for tourism purposes. STV is a temporary visa scheme which will be available until 30 September 2022. Extension of the STV scheme beyond 30 September 2022 is subjected to further consideration of the concerned agencies in the Kingdom.
2. Validity of visa: The validity of a visa is 3 months.
3. Period of stay: not exceeding 90 days and could be extended two times, each time for 90 days (270 days in total)
4. Extension of Stay: Those who wish to stay longer or may wish to change their type of visa must file an application for an extension at the Office of Immigration Bureau located on Government Center B, Chaengwattana Soi 7, Laksi, Bangkok 10210, Tel 0-2141-9889 or at local Immigration Bureau. The extension of stay as well as the change of certain type of visa is solely at the discretion of the Immigration officer. (For more information please visit http://www.thaiembassy.org/main/).
5. Required Document:

5.1 Passport or travel document (with one copy) with validity not less than 12 months

5.2 One duly filled application form

5.3 One colour photographs (3.5x4.5 cm.) taken within the last 6 months

5.4 A copy of ID Card or Family Card (for Saudi citizen) or a copy of Residence Identity Card (for non-Saudi citizen)

5.5 A copy of Exit Re-entry visa (for non-Saudi citizen)

5.6 Evidence of traveling (a copy of confirmed air ticket)

5.7 Proof of full payment of an accommodation during the stay in Thailand or proof of ownership or hire-purchase agreement of condominium, apartment or residence in Thailand.  

5.8 A copy of Health and accident insurance covering the whole period of stay in Thailand, with a minimum of THB 40,000 coverage of outpatient treatment and a minimum of THB 400,000 coverage of inpatient treatment

5.9 Health insurance covering an examination and treatment of COVID-19 during the stay in Thailand with minimum coverage of 100,000 USD.

5.10 Evidence of adequate finance, i.e., bank statement (5,000 SAR per person and 10,000 SAR per family)

5.11 Sponsor letter from the guardian (for minor)

NOTE: Consular officers reserve the rights to request additional documents as deemed necessary.

6. Visa Processing Fee: 300 SAR (non-refundable)
