Transit Visa

1. Requirement: This type of visa is issued to applicants who wish to enter the Kingdom for the following purposes

1.1 To travel in transit through the Kingdom in order to proceed to the country of destination or to re-enter his or her own country (category "TS")

1.2 To participate in sports activities (category "S") Note: Those who are scheduled to stay in the Kingdom longer than one month, Non Immigrant Visa category “O” can be issued to them.

1.3 The person in charge or crew of a conveyance coming to a port, station or area in the Kingdom (category "C").

2. Validity of visa: 3 months
3. Period of stay: not exceeding 30 days
4. Extension of Stay: Those who wish to stay longer or may wish to change their type of visa must file an application for an extension at the Office of Immigration Bureau located on Government Center B, Chaengwattana Soi 7, Laksi, Bangkok 10210, Tel 0-2141-9889 or at local Immigration Bureau. 5. Required Document:

5.1 Passport or travel document (with one copy) with validity not less than 6 months

5.2 One duly filled application form

5.3 One colour photographs (3.5x4.5 cm.) taken within the last 6 months

5.4 A copy of ID Card or Family Card (for Saudi citizen) or a copy of Residence Identity Card (for non-Saudi citizen)

5.5 A copy of Exit Re-entry visa (for non-Saudi citizen)

5.6 Evidence of traveling from Thailand (a copy of confirmed round trip air ticket indicating transit flight at the airport in Thailand)

5.7 Visa of a third country in a passport or travel document (if applicable)

5.8 Letter of invitation stating the applicant's participation in sports activities in the Kingdom
(for category "S")

5.9 Evidence of adequate finance, i.e., bank statement (5,000 SAR per person and 10,000 SAR per family)

5.10 Sponsor letter from the guardian (for minors)
NOTE: Consular officers reserve the rights to request additional documents as deemed necessary.

6. Visa Processing Fee: 140 SAR. (non-refundable)
