Consul-General of Thailand to Jeddah presented a Letter of Commission

On 24 May 2023, Mr. Kitinai Nutakul, Consul-General of Thailand to Jeddah, presented his Letter of Commission to H.E. Mr. Mazin Hamad Alhimali, Director-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region. Mr. Pisoot Suwanrasami, Deputy Consul-General of Thailand, Mr. Chareef Yothasmuth, Consul, and Mr. Adnan Murad, Director of Protocol, also attended the ceremony.

The Director-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs officially welcomed the Consul General on behalf of His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Director-General also expressed his willingness to support the duties of the Consul-General to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries in all aspects including economic, social and cultural cooperations.

In return, Consul-General thanked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region for its continuous support to the missions of the Royal Thai Consulate-General, especially the assistance in the evacuation of Thai people from Sudan in April this year. Both sides also discussed plans to promote cooperation in various dimensions in the future.
