The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Jeddah hosted a reception on the occasion of the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand, the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, and National Father’s Day 2023, on 4 December 2023 at Shangri La Jeddah Hotel. H.E. Ambassador Mazin bin Hamad Alhimali, Director-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, Makkah Province, attended the prestigious function as the Chief Guest and was warmly welcomed by Mr. Kitinai Nutakul, the Thai Consul-General. The reception was also attended by Consuls-General, members of Consular Corps, Government Representatives, as well as representatives from international organizations and private sectors, who all came to congratulate Thailand on this occasion.

 

 The Consul General mentioned in his speech the remembrance of His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great’s grace towards Thai nations, as well as expressed his delight that the bilateral relationship between Thailand and Saudi Arabia has developed and bounds in all dimensions. He also thanked the Saudi Government for the latter's assistance of Thais' evacuation during Sudanese conflict, good taking care of Thai pilgrims during Hajj and the good-quality-of-life provision of Thai students in 6 universities in the western region.
