Thai Airways opens its sales office in Jeddah at Movenpick Hotel, Madinah Road. The Thai Consul-General, Mr. Kitinai Nutakul, presided over the opening ceremony, attended by Mr. Pisoot Suwanrasami, Deputy Consul-General and Mr. Apichat Prasertsud, Director of the Thai Trade Center in Jeddah, on 15th June 2023.

 

The Consul-General congratulated Thai Airways for its successful expansion into Saudi Arabia after the diplomatic normalization in 2022. While expressing his appreciation to Al Maha United, a General Sales Agent (GSA) of Thai Airways, for their support, Consul-General also expressed his readiness to support Thai Airways in all dimensions especially a facilitation on visa process for those who wish to travel to Thailand.

 

Mr. Ishaque Zubair, Country Manager of Al Maha United, told attendees that after the completion of Thai Airways’ hajj operation, the airlines will resume its regular commercial flights on the route Bangkok - Jeddah - Bangkok from 7th August 2023 onwards, operating 5 days a week with flights departing from Bangkok (TG 503) on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 18:45 hours LT and arriving in Jeddah at 22:40 hours LT on the same day. The same aircraft will depart from Jeddah back to Bangkok (TG504) the next day at 00:40 hours LT.

 

Office of the Thai Airways in Jeddah will open from Sunday to Thursday from 09:00 hours to 18:00 hours and on Saturday from 09:00 hours to 15:00 hours, offering a variety of services such as reservation, ticketing, special holiday packages and business negotiations with travel agencies.
