On 10 - 15 January 2025, Mr. Adisorn Sittikarn, Acting Consul-General of Thailand in Jeddah, welcomed Ms. Sabeeda Thaised, Deputy Minister of Interior and Head of the Hajj Mission of Thailand, and the Thai delegation who attended the Hajj Conference and Exhibition 2025 and other relevant meetings at Jeddah Superdome, Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).  

          On this occasion, the Deputy Minister of Interior of Thailand met with high-level officials of KSA who are responsible for the Hajj affairs, including the Minister of Hajj and Umrah and the Chairman of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), to discuss about the preparations for the Thai pilgrims during the Hajj ritual 2025 (1446 Hijri) and also signed the Hajj Affairs Arrangements Agreement for the year 1446 AH between the Hajj Affairs Delegation of the Kingdom of Thailand and the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah of KSA.

          In addition, the Deputy Minister of Interior of Thailand and her team met with the Saudi service providers who will arrange the relevant services including transport, accommodation and catering for the Thai pilgrims during the Hajj Season 2025 to ensure that the Thai pilgrims should receive the good and appropriate services.

          During the meeting to summarise the participation of Thai delegation in the Hajj Conference and Exhibition 2025, on 15 January 2025, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Jeddah expresses its readiness to support the works of the Secretariat of the Hajj Committee of Thailand in promoting the Thai Hajj affairs as well as cooperate with the relevant Thai authorities to ensure the safety and take a good care of the Thai pilgrims during the Hajj Season 2025.
