On August 19, 2022, Mr. Pisoot Suwanrasami, Deputy Consul-General and Acting Consul-General of Thailand to Jeddah, presided over the welcome and inaugural ceremony of Thai Airways International flights TG503 and TG504 from Bangkok - Jeddah - Bangkok at King Abdulaziz International Airport. The event was attended by representatives of Thai Airways International, Al Maha United Travel Company which is General Sales Agent (GSA) of Thai Airways International in Saudi Arabia, Saudi Ground Services Company (SGS) and Jeddah Airports Company (JEDCO).

On this occasion, Acting Consul General of Thailand and representatives of Thai Airways International and Jeddah Airports Company (JEDCO) joined the ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the opening of the inaugural flight from Jeddah to Bangkok, which will depart from Jeddah on August 20, 2022 at 00.40 hrs. and will arrive in Bangkok on the same day at 13.10 hrs.
