On August 25, 2022, Mr. Pisoot Suwanrasami, Acting Consul-General of Thailand to Jeddah, together with Mr. Apichat Prasertsud, Director of Thai Trade center in Jeddah and Mr. Khalid Al Darwish, Chief Executive Officers of Manuel Market jointly opened the Thai Food Festival 2022 at Manuel Market, Al Hamra Branch. The event was attended by approximately 50 representatives from major importing companies and media in Jeddah.

On this occasion, Acting Consul-General gave an opening remarks by complimenting Thai Trade Center in Jeddah and Manuel Market for organizing the event which will play an important role in promoting Thai products to consumers in Saudi Arabia and emphasizing the readiness of Thailand to export high standard halal products to Saudi Arabia in accordance with the policy "Thailand: the Kitchen of the World". Acting Consul-General also expressed the readiness of the Consulate General to support the Saudi private sector in order to enhance trade exchange between Thailand and Saudi Arabia in the future.

Thai Food Festival 2022 will be held continuously until 6 September 2022 at Manuel Market in Jeddah at Al Hamra, Hira International Market, Abhor and Chinatown Mandarin branches, as well as in Riyadh at Park Avenue branch.
